    Fraser River
    Rising near Mount Robson Provincial Park and flowing nearly 1400 km (870 mi) into the Pacific Ocean at Vancouver, the mighty Fraser River is the longest river in British Columbia. Along with its many tributaries, the river and area offers plenty of recreational opportunities including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, camping and more.

    Eaton Lake (Crescent Lake)
    A little more difficult to reach, Eaton Lake is worth the effort, especially for those interested in alpine fishing since the lake is well stocked with rainbow and cutthroat. Camping is available. Located 23 km (14 mi) southeast of Hope via Highway 3 to a logging road up Wray Creek. Then there is a three km hike to the lake.

    Ross Lake
    This lake is known for its large size and good boating opportunities. However, because the lake also serves a a reservior, it is important to note that motor boats are prohibited and also that water levels can drop enormously dependent on demand. 60km southeast of Hope.

    Coquihalla Lakes
    This eight hectare lake is well-stocked with rainbow trout, making it popular with anglers. A boat launch is also onsite.

    Silver Lake Provincial Park
    Located in the Fraser Valley, this provincial park features campgrounds and a day-use area while the lake provides fishing, swimming and boating opportunities. Please be aware that there is no roped-off area designated for swimming.
